Saad Gilani is a Managing Director and has been with the firm since 2005.

Saad has led financing transactions in a variety of life science companies focused on biotechnology, molecular diagnostics and medical devices in the US and in Europe. Saad is a member of the firm’s Investment Committee. He also sits on the supervisory boards of Cyxone AB based in Sweden and Temple Therapeutics BV based in the Netherlands.

Prior to joining Yorkville, Saad worked at Keyence Corporation for 11 years where he held various management roles within the Engineering and Marketing groups.

He earned a BS in Electrical Engineering and received his MBA from Rutgers Business School where he specialized in finance.
